What are the types of documents?

There are 2 types of documents to be cancelled, according to SAT  authority

 

  • CFDI without Acceptance: Taxpayers may cancel a CFDI without requiring acceptance from the recipient.
  • CFDI with acceptance: CFDI may only be cancelled when the person in favor of whom they are issued accepts their cancellation and under the rules and procedures defined by the authority.
  • Non-Cancellable attribute: CFDIs "source" to which at least one current CFDI has been linked are "Non-cancellable".
